Introduction to Emiza
In India's fast-growing e-commerce market, small and medium enterprises (SMBs) need to deal with a crucial problem: how to match the big players when it comes to efficient warehousing and order fulfillment. That's exactly the gap Emiza Supply Chain Services, established in 2015, filled. With more than 150+ D2C and B2B brands operating in several industries today, Emiza has become India's go-to warehousing and fulfillment partner for companies that want to scale efficiently.
The article started when co-founders Ajay Rao and Jitendra Kumar saw that though big companies enjoyed access to advanced third-party logistics (3PL) companies, SMBs were left in the lurch with limited resources and scope. The arrival of e-commerce brought new possibilities to these companies, but new problems in logistics and fulfillment as well.

The Challenges of Emiza
India's e-commerce gold rush is now the stuff of legend — tens of millions of daily orders, from metros to small towns. Yet with every "Add to Cart" click is a huge operational problem: warehousing, packing carefully, and shipping on time, all the time.
It was in 2015 that Ajay Rao started Emiza to address just this. While the large marketplaces such as Amazon and Flipkart had their humongous-warehouses, India's several thousand small and mid-sized D2C brands required a nimble fulfilment partner well-versed in Indian logistics.
Strategic Growth
Emiza went about establishing that partner — an array of strategically placed, technology-enabled fulfilment centers around India's consumption centres. From Mumbai to Bangalore to Kolkata, their warehouses reduce distance between brands and customers, guaranteeing quick delivery even in Tier II and III cities.
Their magic sauce is technology and trust: Emiza's powerful WMS (Warehouse Management System) simply integrates with Shopify, WooCommerce, Amazon, or Myntra — providing brands with real-time inventory visibility and intelligent order routing.
Financial Performance
For direct-to-consumer entrepreneurs, Emiza is having their own fulfillment team minus the hassle: pick, pack, label, ship — all taken care of with care and precision. They even provide custom packaging, return handling, and B2B bulk dispatches.
By FY23, Emiza had 15+ centres of Fulfilment, spanning more than 5 lakh sq. ft. of warehousing area, handling millions of orders every year for brands in the categories of beauty, apparel, FMCG, and electronics. They reached ₹67.93 crore in year-on-year revenue, remaining profitable and garnering new capital to build capacity even quicker.
As India's direct-to-consumer revolution begins to take flight, Emiza is ready to go — making sure that every online buy has a clever, trustworthy supply chain behind it that makes shopping easy for customers and growth simple for brands.
