A Simple Boy With Big Dreams
Shubham Kumar was born into a poor family. Life was never easy — his family faced continuous financial struggles and emotional hardships. His father once ran a clothing store called Shri Jee Collection, but due to poor market response, lack of support, and rising pressure, the business started to collapse. Eventually, his father slipped into depression. The family’s status invited harsh judgment — people looked down on them and dismissed their ability to rise again.
The Fall of Shri Jee Collection
The collapse of Shri Jee Collection was more than a business failure — it was a personal loss. Shubham witnessed not just the downfall of his father's dreams, but also the silence and suffering that followed at home. The shop shut down, and their financial situation worsened. Shubham carried the weight of that failure, but instead of giving in, he began to think differently.

A Bold Decision Against All Advice
Even after completing his education, Shubham was clear — he didn’t want a job. He wasn’t interested in working under someone else or following the so-called “safe path.” While everyone around him advised him to find employment and support his family, Shubham chose otherwise. He made a bold decision: to revive his father’s lost dream.
He decided to rebuild Shri Jee Collection — not for pride, but for purpose.
Starting From Nothing
With no capital, no customer base, and no support even from his family, Shubham started preparing for a fresh start. He registered the business under the MSME Udyam portal, created a basic website, and began working on rebranding the shop.
People mocked him, questioned his decision, and doubted his abilities. But he didn’t stop.
2009: A New Beginning in Jamshedpur
In 2009, Shri Jee Collection was restarted in Jamshedpur. In the early days, there were no sales, no profits — only hard work. Despite offering good-quality clothes, customers weren’t walking in. The market was still cold.
But Shubham didn’t lose hope. He worked relentlessly — day and night — without any guarantee of success.
A Turning Point: The SK A&G
Then came the turning point.
Shubham connected with the SK A&G, a group that helped small businesses grow. They saw potential in him. SK A&G helped Shubham ₹5 Crores of funding under the CGTMSE Scheme by the Government of India.
SK A&G didn’t just invest — they mentored him. They taught him how to manage business operations, expand smartly, understand the customer, and structure growth step-by-step.
This guidance changed everything.
Learning the Market, Serving the People
Shubham began understanding what customers truly wanted. He adjusted his product line, improved the display, and brought in affordable, stylish, and high-demand garments — readymade wear for men, women, and kids including kurtis, jeans, ethnic wear, party wear, and more.
He didn’t stay stuck behind the counter. He went door-to-door promoting the shop, reached out to friends and neighbors, and built trust: one customer at a time.
Digital Leap: Growing Online and Offline
With the rise of social media, Shubham was quick to adapt. He began sharing his collections online — posting pictures, handling orders digitally, and reaching customers far beyond Jamshedpur.
Slowly, orders started coming from other cities and states.
At the same time, he expanded his offline presence, offering door-to-door delivery and tailoring services. His customer service stood out — good fabric, proper fitting, and reasonable prices — everything customers wanted.
The Rise of Shri Jee Collection
From being a failed shop to becoming a growing brand, Shri Jee Collection emerged again — stronger than before. Customers started returning. The name began to spread. Today, the shop is a go-to destination for wedding wear, party outfits, and everyday fashion in the region.
More than business success, it became a symbol of perseverance and pride.
From Rejection to Respect
Those who once ridiculed Shubham’s efforts now admire him. A major role was played by the SK A&G, as we helped him raise ₹5 Crores under the CGTMSE Scheme. Our Mentors guided him at every step — how to manage business, expand wisely, and understand the market. His journey changed not just his life, but also the way his family is perceived. He turned rejection into respect, loss into leadership.
Shubham Kumar didn’t inherit success. He built it.
